With the new year beginning and many of us looking for a rejuvenating, fresh start, it is important to take care of your mind and body. If you’ve ever thought about living a more nourishing life, either mentally or physically, here are six easy ways to nourish yourself today.
1. Create a nourishing, relaxing space to retreat to that will calm and lift your mood.
2. Organize your week into specific days to accomplish different things, ie “work days,” “off days,” “errand days.”
3. Love the body you are in and appreciate it for what it is capable of.
4. Create a food menu to plan your week ahead of time and organize nourishing meals.
5. Enjoy physical activity in the way that you like best.
6. Nourish your mind – be it with reading, gardening, mindfulness- to relax and weed out negativity.
