It is easy to feel overwhelmed and disconnected beneath the stresses of everyday life. Reconnecting with your authentic purpose can seem a daunting challenge, but slowing down and practicing meditation can help bring you back to the present. Set aside a small period of time for mindfulness each day and ask yourself these questions:

  • What am I noticing in my body right now?
  • Am I holding tension in my neck or clenching my jaw?
  • Are my eyes heavy with exhaustion?
  • Do I feel fresh and alive?


Become aware of your body and where you are holding your stress. Increasing that awareness and returning to your body can help to bring you back to the present and help create calm.
